Hot Rolled Flat Steel Products
Hot rolled flat steel products are flat steel products obtained by rolling the rectangular section semi-product (slab) produced by the continuous casting method at a certain temperature.
Rolled steel or steel sheet made from rolled steel: Rolled steel products with thicknesses ranging from 1.40-25.40 mm or steel sheet products that are cut/slit from rolled steel products.
Plate steel: Steel products with a thickness of 6.00 - 200.00 mm and a width of 1000-3600 mm
General Application Areas
In order to meet the demands of our customers operating in the industrial field and each of them has different demands and expectations, we spread the application areas of our hot rolled steel products over a wide area.
Deep drawable steel grades with excellent performance in bending and cold forming applications and micro alloyed high strength steel grades with excellent results in applications requiring high strength are offered to the automotive industry.
Wheel and chassis steels are used in the production of wheel and chassis parts that require both high strength and superior formability, which are the basic input of the automotive industry. General structural steels, whose mechanical properties are guaranteed and ductility and toughness optimised, and which can be welded by conventional methods, are mostly used in the manufacture of construction machinery and construction equipment, general construction plates, road and railway vehicles, storage tanks and containers.
Hot rolled pipe steels are used in the production of pipes with high strength, excellent toughness and good weldability and suitable for the transport of water/oil or gas/oil.
In the manufacture of pressure vessels and boilers, in the production of pipes exposed to pressure and steam, in the manufacture of industrial thermal vessels and heat exchangers, boiler steels suitable for use under high temperature and pressure due to their excellent forming and weldability properties are used.
Tube steels are used in the manufacture of LPG cylinders with high formability, excellent weldability and toughness properties, where high temperature and pressure occur. Medium and high strength shipbuilding steels, which provide superior weldability and desired toughness values, are used in ship interior and keel.
