The basis of our recruitment policy at Erdemir is the placement of the right people, who best match the values and culture of OYAK Mining Metallurgy Companies, in the right positions, by effectively planning the manpower in line with our needs analysis. We use the criteria and methods determined based on the available positions in order to make the most accurate placement. We carry out recruitment activities within the annual plan and structure the process steps in a standard and transparent manner. Every employee who is successful in our company has the chance to rise to the highest level as long as he/she continues his/her success. We aim to train our own managers, and we share horizontal and vertical career opportunities available within and between our companies with our employees through our internal job postings.
We have a recruitment program aimed at new graduates that we run for university graduates.
Internship applications can be made from the “Internship Applications” link available on the internship application page under the Career Opportunities section of the company's web pages between February and March each year. Candidates who will log into the system for the first time must register with their TR ID number, valid e-mail address and the password they will create. TR ID number may be used only once to log into the system. For this reason, it is important that you do not forget your password and keep your e-mail address up to date.
You can submit an internship application only for the departments related to your major. The departments where you will do your internship are announced in the orientation program held at the start of the internship.
Information about internship periods, required documents and orientation program is sent to the contact addresses of students accepted for internship.
We continue to progress by investing in new practices and methods in talent management and training-development activities. The objective of talent management is to meet the talent needs of the organization and to render the human resources of the organization competitive by supporting our employees with appropriate development plans. Our training activities are supported by our vocational and technical training, occupational health and safety training, personal and leadership development trainings, and internal and outsourced training programs.
Erdemir has a performance management system designed based on "Corporate Scorecard". The “Corporate Scorecard” allows the individualization of corporate targets. In addition, year-end evaluations are conducted based on fulfillment rate of business goals and basic/managerial competencies.
